Isabel Weitzel and Alexia Boboc Win Major Competitions During Summer Break

Alexia Boboc (Class 6c), who had already had an extremely successful tennis season, marked another highlight of the season during the break at the Adler Cup in Frankfurt. Alexia confidently prevailed against competitors from Giessen, Birstein, Frankfurt, and Israel, winning the U12 division with ease.

Isabel Weitzel (12e) had already won the Hessian and South German Youth Championships in hammer throw this season. At the DLV Youth Championships in Bochum, she hurled the 3-kg shot exactly 55 meters despite adverse conditions, earning her the title of German Youth runner-up. Isabel was second only to the exceptional thrower Michelle Döpke.
