Awards & Certificates

This is something we’re especially proud of: Our awards reflect what makes us, as Steinmühle, who we are—people with ideas, dedication, and passion who work together to shape our school and are always breaking new ground.

They are a recognition of what we have achieved, and at the same time an incentive to remain curious, take on responsibility, and guide our students a little further each day on their journey toward the future.

Being recognized as a “Digital School” confirms our commitment to innovative learning concepts, digital skills, and an education that prepares students for the future.

In 2026, we were once again recognized as a “Hessian Environmental School.” We’re proud of this—because for us, sustainability is more than just a project: it thrives on many small ideas, collaborative efforts, and people who take responsibility for our future.
As a “STEM-friendly school,” Steinmühle stands for dynamic learning, a spirit of inquiry, and a passion for mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology—and for encouraging young people to take an active role in shaping their future.
As the winner of Bitkom’s “Smart School” competition, we are demonstrating how digital education, innovative concepts, and a shared commitment are making schools ready for the future. We are proud of this—and at the same time, we see it as an incentive to continue boldly breaking new ground.
Steinmühle is the winner of the City of Marburg’s 2026 “Schulradeln” challenge, held as part of the Climate Alliance’s “STADTRADELN” initiative. It’s a success that’s truly fun—and shows that sustainable mobility, physical activity, and working together simply go hand in hand. More biking, fewer parent taxis—that’s how we move forward together!
Steinmühle has been awarded the “Giftedness and Talent Development” seal of approval by the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs.
