Summer Camps at the Steinmühle

This year, we’re once again opening our doors to students in grades 1 through 10 who want to use their summer break to learn study skills, catch up on schoolwork, and learn new material. The learning program is rounded out by a variety of recreational activities. We offer the summer camp with or without overnight accommodations.

Anyone interested in attending Steinmühle as a boarding student will have an excellent opportunity to get to know Steinmühle during the summer camps. The boarding school administration will be available on site for a personal conversation by appointment.

The organizer: The LernTeam from Marburg

The Steinmühlen Summer Camp is organized by our partner, “Das LernTeam” from Marburg, which has been hosting summer camps throughout Germany for over 25 years under the motto “Learn successfully while having fun!”

Morning Classes

Our program is for students in grades 1 through 10. You can choose from the following subjects:

Grades 1 through 4:
Mini-LernTeam Course (German, Math, Learning to Learn)

Grades 5–12
Study Skills Training (study and work techniques, concentration, motivation)
Public Speaking Training (communication and body language, presentation techniques, giving presentations)
German • English • French • Latin • Mathematics
(You can choose two subjects during a camp week.)

Afternoon Activities

In the afternoon, we offer a wide variety of recreational activities, such as tennis, basketball, badminton, soccer, table tennis, rowing, swimming at Seepark, wakeboarding, rock climbing, spikeball, flag football, city scavenger hunts, geocaching, pottery, painting and crafts, capture the flag, dancing, photography, casino night, theater, rap videos, video production, the Digital Learning Club, campfires and barbecues, disco, etc.

Package A (with overnight stay—only for students in 3rd grade and above)
1 week: €1,090.00
2 weeks: €2,040.00
3 weeks: €2,990.00
(Early-bird discount until December 1, 2025: €50 per booking)

Package A includes classes, recreational activities, lodging, full board, and round-the-clock supervision.
Students at Steinmühle receive a 10% discount on Package A .

Offer B (without overnight stay, from 8 a.m. to approx. 8:30 p.m. each day)
1 week: €890.00
2 weeks: €1,640.00
3 weeks: €2,390.00
(Early-bird discount until December 1, 2025: €50 per booking)

Option B includes classes, recreational activities, and full board.
Students at Steinmühle receive a 20% discount on Option B .

Possible Additional Activities
Tennis: 100 € per week/8 hours
Archery: 100 € per week/8 hours
Horseback riding course: 200 € per week/8 hours
