What are you good at?
We help you identify your strengths and build on them.
The Steinmühle – School & Boarding School in the University City of Marburg
A community that supports you!
We are
- A boarding school in the heart of Germany.
- a state-recognized, privately operated high school.
- a high school with an international program.
- A bilingual elementary school.
Above all, though, we are on the same campus—in a supportive community.
We Take Responsibility
No one is alone here.
Not as a person, nor as a student.
We take responsibility for young people, but we also teach them to stand up for themselves as they grow.
Growing and maturing is a process. We guide them through it in a way that’s age-appropriate and individualized, treating them as equals.

No one is alone here.
Neither as a person nor as a student.
We take responsibility for young people, but we also teach them to stand up for themselves as they grow older.
Growing and maturing is a process. We support this process in a way that is age-appropriate and tailored to each individual, treating everyone as equals.
Recognize Strengths, Address Weaknesses

Countless children and teenagers have visited the Steinmühle over the past years and decades—and each of them has their own personal story to tell. What did they experience? What did they take with them from their time at the Steinmühle into their later lives? What has had a lasting impact on her? On behalf of everyone, we asked six former students to share their stories with us.
