Event for European Cooperative Learning Day at the Steinmühle in Marburg on April 8, 2014
On European Day of Cooperative Learning , an event for the entire teaching staff was held at the Steinmühle Rural School Camp—a partner school of the Marburg Teacher Training College—as part of the Comenius project.
Following an introduction to the content of the the cooperative learning method , the concept was tested using various examples in six different working groups: Toolkit for Cooperative Learning, Cooperative Methods for Science Instruction, the Placemat Method, Group Rally, and Structured Controversy.
An interesting exchange of experiences took place within the groups; this allowed the colleagues from Steinmühle to develop a wide range of their own ideas for implementing the presented methods in their classrooms.
