"Leon wasn’t your typical rower at first, but he really fought his way through it and has made great progress."
When Leon thinks back on his time at Steinmühle, certain key words come to mind: family, formative experience, support, and solidarity. He arrived at the boarding school as an eighth-grader, in a place he came to see as a family. He quickly realized that “support” at Steinmühle School and Boarding School was more than just a word. “I am incredibly grateful to have been part of the boarding school community and would choose this path again in a heartbeat.”
Hard Work Pays Off—A Learning Process
Through rowing, Leon learned that it pays to put in the effort. Head coach Martin Strohmenger helped him discover this principle for himself, put it into practice, and then apply it to other areas of his life.
