A Festive Start to the Holidays
On the last day of school before the Christmas break, grades 5 and 6 attended the Christmas play “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves” at the Hessian State Theater; the 7th graders went to the movies; and students in grades 8 – 12 gathered in the Forum during the third period for the end-of-year celebration, where their principals shared some words of wisdom and the StoneMill House Band put on another great performance. Among other songs, the newly formed vocal group—featuring Talea Funk—performed “Last Christmas ” in such a way that we can already look forward to the band’s next performance on January 23, 2017.
