WU Research, the Chemistry Honors Class, and Class 6c enrich the Fall Festival with exciting hands-on experiments
What exactly is a non-Newtonian fluid? How are “slime worms” made from alginates? And how can you silver-plate bottles?
Exciting experiments drew numerous visitors to the booth, which was staffed by students from various courses. Posters also provided explanations that were easy for laypeople to understand.
The silver-plating of the iconic Africola bottles was particularly well-received by visitors of all ages.
