“Saloon Stories,” “Peter Pan,” and “Train to Happiness”: Theater Workshop for 7th-Grade Classes

,

A bar in the Midwest. You can feel the heat on people’s faces. The bartender is standing at the bar, cleaning glasses. Class 7c drew the audience into exciting stories that took place in the saloon and around town.

Class 7a showed what can happen when parents leave their children alone, how eating habits change, and much more in their own adaptation of *Peter Pan*.

The varied, fun, and lively theater evening came to a close with hunted wild animals, quirky families, and people all traveling on the “Train to Happiness” with Class 7b. The audience thanked the young actors with a long round of applause for their entertaining performances, which were presented on two consecutive days.
