Celebrating Christmas with Music, Singing, and Poetry
With great enthusiasm, the 5th and 6th-grade classes organized their joint Christmas party in the Forum. Parents were also invited and watched the performances from their tables while enjoying coffee, cake, and cookies. The program featured music from the 5th-grade wind ensemble, choral singing by the 5th-grade class, as well as song and poetry recitations. The youngest Steinmühlen students were focused yet clearly enjoying themselves. Their performances demonstrated the value of good professional guidance. In addition to Ulrike Wilmsmeyer, Steinmühlen teachers Andreas Jamin (Grade 5 Wind Ensemble) and Daniel Sans (Grade 5 Choir) are actively involved in this program. It’s also not a bad idea, musically speaking, for Ulrike Wilmsmeyer to always lead by example and take to the piano herself. The Steinmühlen community would like to express its gratitude for this dedication—and also to the parents, whose contributions of drinks and pastries helped create a festive atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
