Sustainable Choices in Everyday Life
Archive, NewsInteractive Theater Evening
Is it still okay to go on vacation after everything we know about climate change? How do I make decisions when shopping for sustainable food? How could I optimize my personal energy footprint? These are pressing questions we face every day. After all, even those who know everything about climate and ecology still have to make choices. These everyday decision-making situations were explored during an interactive theater evening.
This event was led by Dominik Werner, a theater educator from Marburg, with Class 8c and about 30 other visitors.
Essentially, using the example “Blueberries from Chile?” as a starting point, the goal was to use role-playing scenarios to raise awareness and promote transparency about how our conscious and unconscious decisions are made and how they might be optimized.
It was still too early to tell whether it would help, but everyone had fun.
