Bodam Lee Qualifies for the National Finals of “Jugend musiziert”

Bodam Lee (Class 9b) had already demonstrated, with her performance at Open Stage in January, just how impressively she had developed her skills on her instrument. In the regional round of “Jugend musiziert” in February, she won convincingly and also took first place in the violin category at the Hesse state competition in Schlitz in March.

At the Hesse regional competition, Bodam impressed the judges with pieces by Isang Yun (“Li-Na in the Garden – The Little Bird”), Ludwig van Beethoven (Sonata No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 12), and Arcangelo Corelli (La Folia, arranged by Fritz Kreisler), thereby qualifying for the national finals in Kassel in May.

The school community is rooting for Bodam and looking forward to her next performance at the Forum der Steinmühle.
