Chance 2016 – International Students Visit the Education Fair in Giessen

Under the motto “Shape Your Own Future!”, the annual “Chance” fair offers information on career guidance, vocational training, continuing education, and college.

This year, the trade show coincided with a “home-visit weekend” (Note: Every 14 days, the German students travel home with their families; the international students stay at Steinmühle and receive individual support). The international students took advantage of this welcome opportunity and visited the exhibition halls in Gießen.

Together, they explored the exhibition halls with their hundreds of exhibitors and gathered a lot of interesting information. Their interests varied widely. While some focused on volunteer and social work, others were more interested in mechanical engineering and engineering in general. Their bags quickly filled up with informational brochures, flyers, and small gifts.

After this successful afternoon, everyone had plenty of informational materials and was brimming with new ideas for the future.
