Minister of Education Certifies the “QuaMath” Professional Development Program by Maximilian Moll and Malte Klimczak

The QuaMath professional development program, which is designed for secondary school math teachers, spans three years. Maximilian Moll and Malte Klimczak are participating in the program on behalf of Steinmühle.

The two math teachers reported that the content focuses on teaching methods and aspects of school development. Their task is to bring the ideas they gained from the workshops back to the math department at Steinmühle.

 

Outstanding Commitment to the Development of Mathematics Instruction

Minister of Education Armin Schwarz signed the latest certificate, which recognizes the school’s exceptional commitment to curriculum development in mathematics. It now adorns the wall in the entrance area of the Steinmühlen main building, alongside numerous other certificates and awards.

QuaMath is a nationwide German professional development program aimed at improving mathematics instruction over the long term, from preschool through high school graduation.

It is a joint initiative of the Conference of Ministers of Education (KMK) and the German Center for Mathematics Teacher Education (DZLM).
