Reading Contest: Nela Haeberle Among Hesse’s Top Two

,

Last Thursday at 2 p.m., Hesse’s top eight readers gathered in the heart of Frankfurt, in the Europaviertel near Sparda Bank, for the state finals of the nationwide reading competition. Nela Haeberle (center) from Gymnasium Steinmühle unfortunately just missed qualifying for the national finals in Berlin in a very close competition, but she returned to Marburg with fond memories of an exciting contest and satisfied with her own performance, having tied for second place—a ranking shared by seven participants. Congratulations on this great success!
