Wrestling Tournament and Youth Cup Tournament at the Steinmühle

Last weekend, the Steinmühle hosted the “
” wrestling tournament and the Youth Cup as part of the ongoing tournament series.

On Saturday, teams from Sterzhausen, Wehrda, and Mengsberg visited
to showcase their skills. Our riders narrowly missed out on the day’s victory in the Youth Cup
but once again secured second place on the podium at
.

On Sunday, the competition continued with the ring tournament. While in the Youth Cup (
), participants are required to complete “only” a dressage test in addition to the theory portion, the ring tournament (
) also requires the young riders (
) to compete in a show jumping competition. Here, too, our
team, led by coach Beate Schridde, secured second place.

The Ring Tournament and Youth Cup Finals will take place on March 17 and 18 in Wehrda
. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for our riders and
