What is the Youth Cup?
The Youth Cup is a tournament for children and teenagers up to age 14, with or without their own horse or pony. Participants must ride an individual course at the level of a riding competition and, as a team, complete a theory quiz. A team consists of four riders (plus substitute riders). Several clubs join together to form a “ring” and take turns hosting the tournament at their riding facilities. At the end, a ring champion is determined. The winning team gets to demonstrate its skills at the grand Youth Cup Final, where it competes against the winners of the other rings at the Hessian State Stud in Dillenburg.
