The InnoClubs at Steinmühle Boarding School are up and running!
Whether it’s event planning, the boarding school council, decorations and design, or creating content for social media —the students at Steinmühle Boarding School are now actively shaping these and other areas: Last Saturday, the “InnoClubs” kicked off! In the run-up to the event, the students were able to choose from a total of eight groups and join the one that interested them the most.
Under the guidance of the boarding school teachers on Head of Boarding School Anke Muszynski’s team, the first order of business was brainstorming: Who has what ideas? How will we go about planning? What are the next steps?
First Aid, Culture, and a New Café at the Tennis Courts
Those who chose “Peer Connect” will focus in the future on topics such as sustainable projects, learning at the boarding school, and first aid. The Culture Club is dedicated to cultural activities and also aims to build connections with cultural offerings in Marburg. The Welcome Club will explore ways to further refine the welcoming atmosphere at Steinmühle. The “Café Mühle” group is tasked with helping to design the café currently under construction at the tennis courts.
We’ve already received a lot of input from the student body
The teaching staff reported that the students had been very engaged from the very beginning and had already contributed numerous ideas to the mixed-age groups.
Participation in an InnoClub at the Steinmühle boarding school is a required activity, along with joining a recreational club.
