The Steinmühle riders kick off the tournament season on the podium

On January 13, 2018, the RSV Sterzhausen hosted this year’s first Youth Cup tournament. This tournament series places particularly high demands on the young riders, all of whom must ride horses provided by the host club.

The RuS Steinmühle e.V. team handled the task with flying colors and narrowly missed out on the gold medal. In addition to the dressage test—which is ridden and judged individually—a theoretical exam follows afterward.

In the end, just 0.5 points separated our riders, led by Beate Schridde, from victory. They headed home thoroughly satisfied with their second-place finish!

There will be a total of four youth cup tournaments. The tournament here at Steinmühle will take place on February 17 at 2:00 p.m.
