Chemistry Class at Steinmühle

Over the course of two days, Steinmühle High School hosted information sessions for parents and students interested in attending Steinmühle starting in 5th grade for the upcoming 2018–19 school year. At the evening event for parents held in the school’s forum, principals Björn Gemmer and Bernd Holly, along with academic director Frank Wemme, provided an overview of school procedures, course offerings, and Steinmühle’s unique selling points in terms of its learning environment and educational concepts.

During the morning event, children and parents—divided into small groups and guided by the school administration and Managing Director Dirk Konnertz—visited various stations throughout the school building one after another to learn about the school’s music, art, sports, and science programs. The presentations were prepared by Steinmühlen students in collaboration with their subject teachers.

Steinmühle saw an absolutely overwhelming level of interest on both information days; it takes this as a compliment and, at the same time, as a sign that it is on the right track with its concept.
