Steinmühle Alumni Network

In late 1984, the Steinmühle attracted a great deal of attention throughout Germany. Several television reports were aired, and more than 125 articles appeared in national newspapers. What had happened?

Answer A is correct: The event continues to generate media coverage today. There are currently plans to turn the story of the escape into a coming-of-age movie, which is set to be released in theaters in 2029.
