Scuola e Convitto \u00e8 un liceo con orario scolastico a tempo pieno obbligatorio, gestito da un ente privato e dotato di un convitto annesso, situato nel quartiere Cappel di Marburg. L\u2019istituto \u00e8 stato fondato nel 1949 a Cappel in un vecchio mulino e negli edifici agricoli e abitativi adiacenti. Da qui deriva il nome. All\u2019epoca, la Steinm\u00fchle ha iniziato la sua attivit\u00e0 con 123 studenti.   <\/p>\n<p>Nel corso degli anni l\u2019offerta formativa si \u00e8 ulteriormente ampliata. Nell\u2019anno scolastico 2019\/20 \u00e8 stata inaugurata la nuova \u201cScuola elementare bilingue Steinm\u00fchle\u201d, con una fase di inserimento scolastico flessibile nelle classi 1\u00aa e 2\u00aa: un\u2019ulteriore offerta all\u2019interno del campus. A seguire \u00e8 stato avviato il ramo liceale internazionale, pensato per i diplomati della scuola elementare bilingue, ma aperto anche a studenti esterni. Attualmente alla Steinm\u00fchle frequentano 900 studenti, di cui 100 alloggiano in collegio.   <\/p>\n<p>La Steinm\u00fchle mette a disposizione nel proprio campus un asilo nido per bambini da 0 a 3 anni. (1904\u20131987), direttore del collegio rurale, e Joseph M\u00fcller (1885\u20131965), direttore del liceo, fondarono la struttura nel 1949. Nel 1951 il vecchio mulino fu ristrutturato e messo a disposizione. Seguirono poi, nel 1954, la Bremerhaus, nel 1958 un palazzetto dello sport, una rimessa per barche, altri edifici e strutture ricreative. Infine fu allestita la Westfalenhaus, dove furono ospitate le prime ragazze.   <\/p>\n<p>Nel Forum, costruito nel 2006, ci sono la biblioteca degli studenti, le aule di musica e le sale per i gruppi, oltre a una grande sala per eventi. Nel 2010 \u00e8 stato realizzato il \u201cCentrum 5\/6\u201d, un edificio dedicato esclusivamente alle classi 5 e 6. A gennaio 2019 \u00e8 stato inaugurato il nuovo edificio della scuola media, chiamato \u201cAtrium 7-10\u201d. Offre 12 aule per le classi dalla 7 alla 10, una sala per i gruppi e un magazzino per ogni anno scolastico, una grande sala multifunzionale, una cucina e un centro di supporto per gli insegnanti. Nel 2006 la Steinm\u00fchle \u00e8 diventata una scuola a tempo pieno esteso con un sistema di sostegno per tutte le classi.<br \/>\nNell\u2019anno scolastico 2019\/20 \u00e8 stata inaugurata la nuova \u201cScuola elementare bilingue Steinm\u00fchle\u201d con una fase di inserimento scolastico flessibile nelle classi 1 e 2. Poco dopo, Georg Ga\u00dfmann ne assunse la presidenza.<br \/>\nNel 1965 Gerhard Buurman si ritir\u00f2 dalla direzione del collegio e affid\u00f2 la gestione operativa a suo figlio, Gert-Ulrich Buurman, che guid\u00f2 il Landschulheim Steinm\u00fchle fino al 1999.<br \/>\nA partire dal 2024, il patrimonio della Landschulheim Steinm\u00fchle GmbH &#038; Co. KG \u00e8 stato ceduto all\u2019associazione Schulverein Steinm\u00fchle Marburg e.V. Per garantire la continuit\u00e0 organizzativa e operativa, l\u2019associazione ha fondato una societ\u00e0 a responsabilit\u00e0 limitata senza scopo di lucro.  <\/p>\n<p>Dopo diversi altri predecessori in carica, oggi la scuola \u00e8 diretta da Bj\u00f6rn Gemmer e il collegio da Anke Muszynski.<br \/>\nDirk Konnertz \u00e8 amministratore delegato dell\u2019associazione scolastica Steinm\u00fchle Marburg e.V. dal 2013. Dal 2024 dirige inoltre la Steinm\u00fchle gGmbH, la societ\u00e0 che, in qualit\u00e0 di ente gestore, si occupa dell\u2019immobile e dei settori del collegio, della mensa, del bistrot, della scuola
