\u00c9cole et internat est un lyc\u00e9e priv\u00e9 proposant un enseignement \u00e0 temps plein obligatoire, dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;un internat attenant, situ\u00e9 dans le quartier de Cappel \u00e0 Marbourg. L&rsquo;\u00e9tablissement a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 en 1949 \u00e0 Cappel, dans un ancien moulin et les b\u00e2timents d&rsquo;exploitation et d&rsquo;habitation adjacents. C&rsquo;est ce qui explique son nom. \u00c0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, la Steinm\u00fchle a ouvert ses portes avec 123 \u00e9l\u00e8ves.   <\/p>\n<p>Au fil des ann\u00e9es, l\u2019offre s\u2019est continuellement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e. \u00c0 la rentr\u00e9e 2019\/20, la \u00ab \u00c9cole primaire bilingue Steinm\u00fchle \u00bb, nouvellement cr\u00e9\u00e9e, a ouvert ses portes avec une phase d\u2019accueil flexible en CP et CE1 \u2013 une offre suppl\u00e9mentaire sur le campus. Puis vint le lancement de la fili\u00e8re internationale du lyc\u00e9e, destin\u00e9e aux dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00e9cole primaire bilingue, mais qui accueille \u00e9galement des \u00e9l\u00e8ves externes. Actuellement, 900 \u00e9l\u00e8ves fr\u00e9quentent la Steinm\u00fchle, dont 100 jeunes r\u00e9sident \u00e0 l\u2019internat.   <\/p>\n<p>La Steinm\u00fchle dispose, au sein de son campus, d&rsquo;une cr\u00e8che accueillant les enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 0 \u00e0 3 ans. Vinrent ensuite, en 1954, la \u00ab Bremerhaus \u00bb, puis, en 1958, un gymnase, un hangar \u00e0 bateaux, d\u2019autres b\u00e2timents ainsi que des installations de loisirs. Enfin, la \u00ab Westfalenhaus \u00bb fut am\u00e9nag\u00e9e pour accueillir les premi\u00e8res filles.   <\/p>\n<p>Le Forum, construit en 2006, abrite la biblioth\u00e8que des \u00e9l\u00e8ves, des salles de musique et des salles de groupe, ainsi qu\u2019une grande salle de spectacle. En 2010, le \u00ab Centrum 5\/6 \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 : il s\u2019agit d\u2019un b\u00e2timent r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux classes de 5e et 6e. En janvier 2019, le nouveau b\u00e2timent d\u00e9di\u00e9 au coll\u00e8ge, baptis\u00e9 \u00ab Atrium 7-10 \u00bb, a \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9. Il offre 12 salles pour les classes de la 7e \u00e0 la 10e, une salle de groupe et un local de rangement pour chaque niveau, une grande salle polyvalente, une cuisine et un espace d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux enseignants. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s, Georg Ga\u00dfmann en a pris la pr\u00e9sidence.<br \/>\nEn 1965, Gerhard Buurman s&rsquo;est retir\u00e9 de la direction de l&rsquo;internat et a confi\u00e9 la gestion op\u00e9rationnelle \u00e0 son fils, Gert-Ulrich Buurman, qui a dirig\u00e9 le Landschulheim Steinm\u00fchle jusqu&rsquo;en 1999.<br \/>\nAvec effet \u00e0 compter de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2024, les actifs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Landschulheim Steinm\u00fchle GmbH &#038; Co. KG ont \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9d\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019association Schulverein Steinm\u00fchle Marburg e.V. Afin d\u2019assurer la continuit\u00e9 organisationnelle et op\u00e9rationnelle, l\u2019association a fond\u00e9 une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 responsabilit\u00e9 limit\u00e9e d\u2019utilit\u00e9 publique.  <\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s plusieurs autres pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs \u00e0 ce poste, l&rsquo;\u00e9cole est aujourd&rsquo;hui dirig\u00e9e par Bj\u00f6rn Gemmer et l&rsquo;internat par Anke Muszynski.<br \/>\nDirk Konnertz est, depuis 2013, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l&rsquo;association scolaire Steinm\u00fchle Marburg e.V. Depuis 2024, il dirige \u00e9galement la Steinm\u00fchle gGmbH, qui, en tant qu\u2019organisme gestionnaire, est responsable du parc immobilier ainsi que de l\u2019internat, du restaurant
