After taking care of the final formalities with our administrative team\u2014our new boarding students were already off with our teachers to their living groups and settling into their rooms! We\u2019re thrilled to have welcomed so many new faces to our Steinm\u00fchle boarding school yesterday and could hardly wait for all our returning boarding students to arrive shortly afterward. \u2014 After six weeks of summer break, our campus is bustling with life again! <\/p>\n

A seamless transition from home<\/strong><\/p>\n

While the children and teenagers were getting accustomed to their\u2014in some cases\u2014new \u201csecond home\u201d or had returned to their usual place of residence and school, the parents made themselves comfortable with coffee, cake, fruit, and soft drinks, chatted with boarding school director Anke Muszynski and school principal Bj\u00f6rn Gemmer, and were delighted to see how smoothly the transition from home to the Steinm\u00fchle Marburg boarding school had gone for the new 2024\u201325 school year. \u201cIt feels like I never even left,\u201d said a high school boarding student happily upon his arrival. <\/p>\n

Delighted with a Great Start<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our photos show (from left) our licensed nurse, Mandy M\u00f6nke, with our boarding school administration team\u2014consisting of Sandra Werner, Ina Block, and Maike Friauf, the boarding school\u2019s accountant and executive assistant\u2014along with boarding school director Anke Muszynski.<\/p>\n

The fact that the weather cooperated on Welcome Day is evident in the photo showing our seating areas with sun umbrellas, where the parents of our new boarding students took their seats.<\/p>\n

You could tell they were thrilled about the great start, as this snapshot taken at a parents’ table shows.<\/p>\n
