Goodbye, numerical grades! At Steinm\u00fchle, physical education classes for grades 5 through 8 will soon feature quality certificates instead of grades. This innovative change was recently approved unanimously at the last faculty meeting and marks an important step toward a more modern and multi-perspective approach to physical education at our school, reports Benedikt Hohmann on behalf of the physical education department. <\/p>\n

The quality certificates will be introduced gradually starting next school year. Fifth-grade classes will thus be the first to experience this new form of performance assessment in physical education. Steinm\u00fchle is working closely with other schools that have already taken this step. <\/p>\n

“We are convinced that this innovation will have a positive impact on physical education, the sports culture at Steinm\u00fchle, and the motivation of our students,” said Benedikt Hohmann. “We are looking forward to the new opportunities and are eager to see what we will learn from the quality certifications.” <\/p>\n
