A great success for our Steinm\u00fchlen girls\u2019 gig quadruple sculls at \u201cYouth Trains for the Olympics\u201d in Competition Class III: In their very first regatta together, the team immediately put in a strong performance, reported coach Martin \u201cStromi\u201d Strohmenger. Despite a valiant effort, the athletes unfortunately fell short of second place, which would have secured them a spot in the finals. Nevertheless, the five are eager for more and already have their sights set on next year. This could also mean more reinforcements from the younger age groups.
