Decades ago, the \u201cStiftung Steinm\u00fchle e.V.\u201d was founded with the purpose of supporting boarding school students who had difficulty paying their school fees and, above all, their boarding fees. In recent years, the activities of the \u201cStiftung Steinm\u00fchle e.V.\u201d had ceased to be visible. Following the death of Chairman Thilo von Th\u00fcmen, who was a student at Steinm\u00fchle from 1956 to 1965, the decision was made to dissolve the association. It was particularly the former Steinm\u00fchle students and members Axel Becker (pictured left) and Udo Graul (right) who spearheaded the dissolution of the association and ensured that the association\u2019s remaining funds could now be transferred to the Steinm\u00fchle Marburg School Association (Schulverein Steinm\u00fchle Marburg e.V.). As part of the celebration marking Steinm\u00fchle\u2019s 70th anniversary on September 20, the two members presented Principal Bj\u00f6rn Gemmer (center) with a check for the remaining balance of 7,418 euros. In line with the goal of \u201cStiftung Steinm\u00fchle e.V.,\u201d the funds will be used for scholarships and tuition reductions. <\/p>\n
