The boarding school students baked a total of 60 cakes for the annual big fall festival, which drew more<\/span> visitors than<\/span> ever before to the Steinm\u00fchlen campus on the Saturday<\/span> before the break. How good it was to have made such thorough preparations! It wasn\u2019t just the baked goods that were a hit on this sunny Saturday<\/span>; the barbecue stand, with more serving stations than usual, also treated the many guests to a sumptuous feast. The boarding school handled the demands with flying colors: two bratwursts here, fries there\u2014 it<\/span> went on<\/span> nonstop well<\/span> into the evening. There was<\/span> also a lively crowd at the beer tent and in the wine tent. Here, too, the boarding school staff, supported by individual volunteers, kept things running smoothly. <\/p>\n

With good organization<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the Steinm\u00fchle Boarding School, the Fall Festival is a crowd-pleaser every year\u2014and comes with many challenges. It\u2019s not just a matter of setting up the event and organizing food service for the numerous visitors. At the same time, the boarding school students are also participating in school projects with their class groups. That means juggling multiple tasks\u2014for both students and teachers! <\/p>\n

Lots of new things to marvel at<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fact that so<\/span> many people came to Steinm\u00fchlenweg was clearly due to the fact that there was so much to see: the new building, the renovated main building, the redesigned schoolyard, and the cafeteria\u2014which was almost unrecognizable. Parents, relatives, friends, and guests of Steinm\u00fchle gathered to get a firsthand look at what they had already heard about from their children. Stations featuring activities from all school grades were spread throughout the entire grounds and in individual rooms. Visitors completed a veritable obstacle course as they toured all the presentations and gladly accepted the invitation to take a guided tour of the new buildings. <\/p>\n

Reminiscing<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Steinm\u00fchle Fall Festival is also a celebration for alumni, some of whom travel from far away to see \u201ctheir\u201d class again. \u201cDo you remember\u2026?\u201d was a phrase heard in many corners. People shared memories and raised a glass or two<\/span>. The younger students and current residents of the boarding houses also had plenty of fun. The dancing in the festival tent lasted well into the night. <\/p>\n

Everything Under Control<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the next day, the boarding school students returned to the campus promptly at 10 a.m. to clean up, return the dishes, and take down the decorations, with the support of the teaching staff. And sure enough, the campus looked clean again in no time, as if the many visitors had never been there at all. The course of this traditional festival once again made it clear that work and celebration definitely go hand in hand. The feedback made it clear: Everyone had a great time at the Fall Festival! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
