Lucas beat the entire field of competitors from Hesse. Coach Martin Strohmenger was extremely pleased with his prot\u00e9g\u00e9\u2019s performance.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Lorena Heinemann<\/strong> also had a strong race in the women\u2019s lightweight single sculls. She rowed a technically and tactically sound race and finished as the runner-up in the Hessian championships behind the winner from Gro\u00dfauheim.<br \/>\n<strong>Lukas Dr\u00f6sch<\/strong> and <strong>Niclas M\u00e4gerlein<\/strong> competed in the lightweight junior double sculls A and took the bronze medal. They got off to a blistering start and were firmly in the lead after two-thirds of the course.
