The school administration had two expectations of Mr. Weber, who had served as a school inspector in Hesse for many years: first, he was to help place Steinm\u00fchle in the context of high-performing schools in Hesse and provide criteria for doing so; second, as an experienced school inspector, he was expected to highlight evaluation options. The school administration was interested in hearing from him, based on his experience, about where schools\u2019 <b>instructional qualities<\/b> are particularly recognized and where they are still needed to a greater extent\u2014as well as where <b>the possibilities and limitations of internal and external evaluation<\/b> lie.    <u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>To get right to the point: Mr. Weber\u2019s remarks were quite helpful for the school, and it was certainly an advantage that the Steinm\u00fchle was not unfamiliar territory to him, since his wife, Prof. Dr. Karin Br\u00e4u, had worked there as a biology and art teacher in the 1990s.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, Mr. Weber repeatedly referred to <b>three criteria for good schools<\/b> that he has come to regard as indispensable over the years: the <b>quality of school leadership<\/b>, the <b>commitment to<\/b> <b>following through on<\/b> <b>agreements<\/b> within the school, and <b>how the school handles diversity<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/steinmuehle.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/JBE_6839_2-FILEminimizer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5514\" src=\"https:\/\/steinmuehle.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/JBE_6839_2-FILEminimizer.jpg\" alt=\"JBE_6839_2 (FILEminimizer)\" width=\"1846\" height=\"1200\"><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/steinmuehle.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/JBE_6847-FILEminimizer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5515\" src=\"https:\/\/steinmuehle.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/JBE_6847-FILEminimizer.jpg\" alt=\"JBE_6847 (FILEminimizer)\" width=\"1846\" height=\"1200\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 24, 2015, Mr. Klaus Heiner Weber was a guest at an expanded school administration meeting.
