It\u2019s great when you can play an instrument or sing well and enjoy doing so. But it\u2019s often only really fun when you can make music with others and have an audience every now and then. You could see just how much fun our students have doing this not only at the Musical Evening<\/b> in mid-May, but once again in a special way at Bands on Stage<\/b>. <\/p>\n

Once again, the rock band from grades 8 and 9\u2014Lena Schlegel, Linda Balser, and Hannah Bo\u00dfhammer\u2014as well as the StoneMill House Band performed with cool confidence, professionalism, and enthusiasm. But the big surprise of the evening was the band club from grades 5 and 6, led by frontwoman Talea Funk. Talea and her band performed on stage with a confidence and musicality that first astonished the audience and then drew enthusiastic applause. <\/p>\n
