Principal Bj\u00f6rn Gemmer was so impressed that he immediately took a photo of the fragrant and lovingly packaged products: Mar\u00eda Ramos\u2019s elective class (WU) for grades 8 and 9 had once again \u201cworked its magic\u201d and was offering small and large items in the teachers\u2019 lounge in exchange for a donation. Under the elective\u2019s motto, \u201cWe Think Sustainably,\u201d the students had made the following products during the course: organic green tea with peppermint from the school garden, lavender tea, organic oregano salt, and dried sage\u2014also from the school garden. Reusable gift ribbons, organic rosemary vinegar, ratatouille, and lavender sachets were also available for purchase\u2014all lovingly prepared and presented. Mar\u00eda Ramos: \u201cThe students were proud of their products, which they made with heart, their own hands, and a great deal of hard work and personal responsibility. And I\u2019m so proud of all of them.\u201d <\/p>\n
