Nothing stays the same\u2014not even at Steinm\u00fchle. So the school administration and Steffen Ullwer, a member of the teaching staff, took the opportunity of the end-of-school-year barbecue to announce some personnel changes at the school. <\/p>\n

When colleagues leave, there\u2019s always a touch of sadness. Anja Zelle, for example, will no longer be teaching students at Steinm\u00fchle but will instead be teaching in Thuringia. Thomas Korte\u2019s move isn\u2019t quite as far\u2014he\u2019s heading to the neighboring district of Frankenberg. <\/p>\n

Steinm\u00fchle wishes them both all the best!<\/p>\n

With Fido Wagler\u2019s departure, Steinm\u00fchle is losing a true institution. \u201cA void we cannot fill,\u201d said Principal Bernd Holly. Friedhelm Wagler, the English and dance teacher with a passion for movement and good food, has carved out a strong reputation among his colleagues through his inspiring dance activities and his deep commitment to the party catering business. That\u2019s why we really don\u2019t want to let him go into his well-deserved\u2014yet far too early\u2014retirement. <\/p>\n

“We’d like to thank you for your work in the sports department,” said Bernd Holly, and he was relieved to announce, “that Fido will be staying with us a little longer to work in the catering service.”<\/p>\n

The English Department, led by Nicole Hohm, paid tribute to their colleague with an elaborate, heartfelt, and enthusiastic performance. Wearing \u201cFido wigs,\u201d the members performed several skits under the theme \u201cInternational Fido Day\u201d and were rewarded with enthusiastic applause. Of course, later on, all the colleagues had to rise from their seats and, following Fido\u2019s instructions, join him in a lively performance in a circle\u2014which, naturally, they did willingly. <\/p>\n

New Teachers for the <\/strong>start of the school year<\/strong><\/p>\n

As sad as the Steinm\u00fchle faculty was to see their departing colleagues leave, there was still cause for celebration. That\u2019s because, in turn, Ren\u00e9 Schulenberg and Michael Schmidt will be joining the teaching staff starting next school year. While Ren\u00e9 Schulenberg has come from just a short distance away at another high school in Marburg, Michael Schmidt is transferring to the \u201cM\u00fchle\u201d from Frankenberg. <\/p>\n

An experienced teacher will be joining the boarding school team. Heidi Kesting will be supporting the team at the Bremerhaus. <\/p>\n

The contributions of Oleg Koch, the Steinm\u00fchle caretaker, should not be underestimated; following his colleague\u2019s departure, he has recently been handling all the work entirely on his own. Starting in August, he will have some help: Viktor Kreuz is the new addition to the team, and he will be responsible for maintenance work and much more. <\/p>\n

We wish all our new employees a wonderful time at Steinm\u00fchlen!<\/p>\n
