In the 2017 Pangea Math Competition, Steinm\u00fchle High School ranked among the top ten schools in Hesse. The school community kicked off the new year with this news. \u201cWe are proud of our students, whose achievements contributed to this outstanding result,\u201d said Constanze Oestreicher-Gold, chair of the mathematics department and head of the mathematics division, and Principal Bj\u00f6rn Gemmer. The competition, which takes place on a national and international level, challenges participants of various age groups to demonstrate their arithmetic skills\u2014even without a calculator\u2014as well as logical thinking and a love of problem-solving. <\/p>\n
