{"id":43544,"date":"2017-12-11T09:54:24","date_gmt":"2017-12-11T08:54:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.steinmuehle.de\/blog\/2017\/12\/11\/stonews-interviews-with-teachers-and-a-glimpse-into-the-world\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T17:34:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T15:34:00","slug":"stonews-interviews-with-teachers-and-a-glimpse-into-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/steinmuehle.de\/en\/blog\/2017\/12\/11\/stonews-interviews-with-teachers-and-a-glimpse-into-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"STONEWS \u2013 Interviews with Teachers and a Glimpse into the World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Steinm\u00fchle is always happy to get \u201cgood press.\u201d We were quite surprised when, a few months ago, our own students contributed to it: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gymnasium-steinmuehle.de\/magazin\/2017_STONEWS_1.pdf\">STONEWS was <\/a>published\u2014a new 16-page lower-grade newspaper in A4 format, created in the 5th-grade language workshop under the guidance of German and geography teacher Lisa Braun. <\/p>\n<p>The team, consisting of Annabell Bork, Vivien Ettrich, Nela Haeberle, Felix May, Emma Schnabel, and Melina Wagner, conducted interviews with Steinm\u00fchlen teachers for the newspaper, addressed the topic of refugee policy, and developed a quiz to help people find out if they\u2019re addicted to social media.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second issue in the next half-year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to teacher Lisa Braun, there will definitely be another issue of STONEWS in the coming semester. This time, 20 students\u2014from the current 6th-grade classes and 5th-grade students\u2014have already expressed interest in contributing. We wish them every success and are already looking forward to it.
