Together with the <\/span><\/span>sixth-grade choir<\/b><\/span><\/span> , the two <\/span><\/span>wind instrument classes<\/b><\/span><\/span> performed together to mark the end of the school year. <\/span><\/span> <\/p>\n

The entertaining concert evening, featuring international songs, was opened by the 6-member choir: <\/span><\/span>\u201cVois sur ton chemin,\u201d \u201cUnicorn,\u201d<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span> and other songs were performed with strong voices and precise intonation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The 6th-grade wind ensemble, under the direction of Ms. Wilmsmeyer, then performed with rhythmic precision and tonal sensitivity, \u201c<\/span><\/span>“Rainbow Connection”<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span> and <\/span><\/span>“Accidentally in Love”<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span>. Another high-quality contribution came from the <\/span><\/span>Flute Section of Wind Instrument Class 6<\/b><\/span><\/span>. The <\/span><\/span>Swing & Sing Club<\/b><\/span><\/span> danced and sang with great joy and carefully crafted choreography.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A particular highlight was the impressive closing performance:<\/span><\/span>\u201cSkyfall\u201d <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span>featuring over 80 active musicians, inspiringly conducted by music teacher Daniel Sans.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fynn Konnertz <\/b><\/span><\/span>and <\/span><\/span>Jannik Anfang<\/b><\/span><\/span> from the <\/span><\/span>7th Grade<\/b><\/span><\/span> They performed their own arrangement of “Wonderworld” and enchanted the audience with a masterful rendition of Mozart’s <\/span><\/span>“It sounds so wonderful” <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span> on glockenspiels. Afterward, the 7th-grade wind ensemble performed the pieces with enthusiasm and vigor <\/span><\/span>“Gangnam Style” <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span>and <\/span><\/span>\u201cMay it be\u201d<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
