At the Cultural Evening, students took to the stage to present what they had prepared for performance together with their teachers in class and in extracurricular clubs. This year, the audience was treated to a particularly appealing program: \u201cMurderous Shadows,\u201d a reading and shadow play performance by students from 6th grade, a rousing Zumba performance by younger students, the \u201cFire Magic\u201d show with smoke effects by the chemistry students from 6th and 12th grades, and high-level examples from the English class of 5th grade, Class B. <\/p>\n
The two performances by students in the drama program were outstanding. While Mr. Finance\u2019s group explored the concept of \u201cstaying power,\u201d Ms. Lauginiger\u2019s drama troupe (pictured here) presented their interpretation of Kafka\u2019s \u201cThe Metamorphosis.\u201d Both were very impressive! The horn section of the StoneMill Houseband\u2019s jazz ensemble provided much-applauded musical highlights with four skillfully performed jazz standards. <\/p>\n
